Local Roots & Family Tradition

Gold City Solar & Electrical began in Gympie with owner Scott Ellison, a third-generation electrician inspired by his father’s Gympie business and his grandfather’s work in Brisbane. After completing an electrical contracting course in 2007 and a Certificate IV in Grid Connected Solar Design and Installation, Scott and his wife Melinda built a family business focused on honest advice, neat workmanship and long-term value.


Gold City Solar & Electrical are independent – not a franchise – so every system is tailored to usage and budget, backed by a full design licence and hands-on support from first call to final handover.
